Since De’Ja was a little girl she knew she wanted to be involved with hair. Once she got to high school, her mom couldn’t afford to get her hair done anymore. This resulted in her taking matters into her own hands. She became self taught in the art of sew-ins, ponytails, and quick weaves. After starting her first job at the age of 18, she put the needle and thread down and began investing in her passion. Through her YouTube channel she created a way to document and review the quality caliber of hair she deserved while also inspiring and educating her followers on her hair journey. De’Ja always knew she wanted to be in the hair industry, but never imagined how much diversity there was under its domain other than doing hair like she had to do as a young girl. After procrastinating for so many years, De’Ja finally put her dreams to actions and started her hair company and never looked back.
